At My Filosophy, we curate in small, intentional batches. To ensure more of our collection is available to our boutique lovers, we offer select items on backorder or preorder. Here’s everything you need to know:


Can I cancel a backorder or preorder?

Yes — you may cancel within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, your piece has already been secured with our suppliers.

Do you charge upfront?

Yes, payment is processed at the time of purchase. This ensures your item is reserved and waiting for you.

How long will it take to ship?

Backorders typically ship within 7–28 days. Preorders may vary depending on the collection, but estimated timelines will always be listed on the product page.

Do I get rewarded for waiting?

Absolutely. Every backorder or preorder comes with a 5% VIP thank-you credit, valid for 45 days from your shipping date or pick-up date, toward your next purchase.

What if the item doesn’t come back in stock?

In the rare event that we cannot fulfill your backorder or preorder, we’ll issue a full refund and extend a boutique credit as our thank-you for your patience.

What if I return the item that was on backorder?

If you exchange for another item, you keep your 5% VIP thank you credit.  If you return, the VIP credit becomes nul and void.  If the credit has been used - it will be deducted off the refund.  

Will I be kept updated?

Yes. You’ll receive order confirmation, progress updates, and a shipping notification once your item is on its way. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

Are Special Orders included?

Unfortunately not.  Orders from Trunk Shows or special orders that are not part of the core pieces, do not qualify for the 5% VIP thank-you credit.
